L.A. Community Organizing Academy (LACOA)
Information about LACOA
The L.A. Community Organizing Academy (LACOA) is a program dedicated to training generations of community organizers to work throughout Los Angeles. The program administered by Community Development Technologies Center (CDTech). Participants who are accepted into the cohort will receive college credit from the classes and all tuition for the classes will be fully paid by CDTech.
Classes will be for Fall 2012 between September-December. Students will receive a certificate in Beginning Organizing Skills. For the first time, classes will be offered bilingually in English and Spanish.
